If you've booked with Spirit Airlines and need to cancel your flight, the best way to secure a refund is to act quickly. Spirit offers refunds only if you cancel within 24 hours of booking and your flight is scheduled more than seven days later. To request a refund, log into the Spirit Airlines website, go to “My Trips,” find your booking, and initiate the cancellation process.

After the 24-hour window has passed, Spirit Airlines generally does not offer refunds. However, passengers who purchased the “Flight Flex” add-on or travel insurance may be eligible for travel credits instead. These credits can be used toward future flights, though they do not guarantee a cash refund.
