American Airlines charges $125 per pet for carry-on service. This applies to most routes within the U.S. and certain international destinations. The pet must remain in a carrier under the seat in front of you. Keep in mind, there are limits on how many pets are allowed on each flight, so it’s important to make your pet’s reservation early.
