Spirit Airlines operates on a low-cost model, and as such, its refund policies are quite strict. Typically, Spirit does not offer refunds if you cancel a non-refundable ticket unless you cancel within their 24-hour risk-free cancellation period. This policy applies if you booked your ticket at least seven days before the departure date. Beyond this window, if you cancel your flight, you may only be eligible for a travel credit for future Spirit Airlines flights, minus any cancellation fees. However, if you’ve purchased Spirit’s optional "Flight Flex" add-on, you may be able to cancel or change your flight without paying additional fees.
